Stewart Adam

Stewart Adam is co-author with Professors Philip Kotler, Linden Brown, and Gary Armstrong of the third and fourth editions of Marketing: Australia & New Zealand. He is currently involved in preparing the manuscript for the Millennium edition of this leading marketing textbook.
Stewart is lead author of Electronic Marketing and the Internet. He is also co-author with Colin Baskin of Managing on the Internet. His other publications are in information technology and the role of technology in service delivery, while his research and teaching interests are in electronic marketing.
Stewart Adam has a psychology and sociology undergraduate degree from the University of New South Wales, a graduate diploma in financial management from the University of New England and a research Master of Commerce (research) degree from Deakin University. He is an Associate of the Australian Institute of Management (AAIM) and a Certified Practising Marketer (CPM). He is Senior Lecturer in the School of Marketing at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. He contributes to postgraduate and executive programs in Australia and SouthEast Asia.
Stewart uses online flexible learning materials and online delivery methodologies with such postgraduate subjects as Electronic Marketing. This follows on from his teaching experience with a number of universities in New South Wales and Victoria. He has spent 30 years almost equally divided between marketing practice and lecturing in marketing and management. His marketing practitioner experience includes account management with advertising agencies in Europe and Australia.
Additionally, Stewart has worked as product manager, marketing manager, consultant and general manager in both the manufacturing and services sectors and regularly consultants to a number of marketing organisations.
