Courtland L. Bovee has, for more than three decades, been one of the nation's leading advocates and teachers of clear and effective business communication. He has more than 20 years of teaching experience at Grossmont College where he has received teaching honors.

Professor Bovee is co-author of several leading texts, including Business Communication Today (the number-one selling college-level business communication textbook), Excellence in Business Communication, and Business Today, all published by Prentice Hall.

In addition to being a prominent writer and researcher, he is a highly regarded communications consultant, known worldwide for his seminars and in-company training programs. He also serves on the board of directors of several corporations.
