Linden Brown

Linden Brown is a co-author with Professors Philip Kotler, Stewart Adam, and Gary Armstrong of the third and fourth editions of Marketing: Australia & New Zealand. Linden Brown is Adjunct Professor of Marketing and head of M*Sat Group within the School of Marketing with University of Technology, Sydney. He is one of Australia's leading consultants and academics. His PhD in marketing followed a first degree in accounting and economics at the University of New South Wales. He has lectured marketing at a number of universities including the Sydney Graduate School of Management and Public Policy, Melbourne Graduate School of Management, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, University of New South Wales, and Cranfield University Management School in England. His books, Competitive Marketing Strategy, published in 1990 and 1997 focus on strategy in an Australian context. He also co-authored with Malcolm McDonald, Competitive Marketing Strategy for Europe, published in 1994. As a marketing practitioner, Dr. Brown has initiated and developed a number of businesses in the transport, printing and food marketing areas.
