David Stephan

David Stephan is an independent instructional designer and multimedia courseware designer with fifteen years experience teaching computer information systems subjects to undergraduate and graduate business and public administration students. He received a B. A. degree in Geology from Franklin and Marshall College, an M. S. degree in Computer Information Systems from Baruch College, and has been a doctoral student in Instructional Technology at Teachers College, Columbia University. He is the co-author of Using SAS with Basic Business Statistics, Using Minitab for Business Statistics, and Using SPSS with Basic Business Statistics; (all published by Prentice-Hall). He is currently an adjunct lecturer in Computer Information Systems at Baruch College and twice has been nominated for the college Teaching Excellence Award. He has also served as Instructor, Senior College Lab Technician, and Assistant to the Dean of the School of Business for Computing. He also functions as lead software developer and assistant project director on a U. S. Department of Education FIPSE-funded courseware and curriculum development project housed at Baruch College.
