Elnora W. Stuart is the co-author of Marketing; Real People, Real Choices with Michael R. Solomon.

Elnora W. Stuart is Professor of Marketing at Winthrop University where she teaches Principles of Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Marketing Research, Promotion Management and Marketing Management in both the undergraduate and MBA programs. Dr. Stuart received an M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications and Ph.D. in marketing at the University of South Carolina.

Dr. Stuart's research has been published in a variety of academic and professional journals including the Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Advertising, Journal of Business Research, Advances in Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing Education, and the Public Relations Journal.

In 1988, she received a Robert Ferber Award from the Association for Consumer Research for her research on classical conditioning in advertising and in 1989 she was named Outstanding Junior Professor by Winthrop University. She has also received the School of Business Administration First Union Bank Outstanding Teacher Award at Winthrop.

Since 1977, Dr. Stuart has completed over 80 marketing and mass communications research and consulting projects for a wide variety of local, regional, national and international business and organizational clients.

Dr. Elnora Stuart was born in Kannapolis, North Carolina, and received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Prior to joining the Winthrop faculty in 1986, Dr. Stuart was on the faculty of the College of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of South Carolina. She currently lives in Rock Hill, South Carolina with her cat Sam but spends much of the summer and other holidays at Hilton Head, South Carolina. She has two sons, William (Sonny) and Patrick.
