Bernard W. Taylor, III Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University

Bernard W. Taylor, III, is the R. B. Pamplin Professor of Management Science and Head of the Department of Management Science and Information Technology at the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He received his Ph.D. and M.B.A. from the University of Georgia and B.I.E. from the Georgia Institute of Technology. In addition to his books Introduction To Management Science (6th ed.) and the fourth edition of Management Science (of which he was a co-author), Professor Taylor has published numerous articles in such journals as Omega and Operations Research. He has presided over and participated in a myriad of organizations dealing with the decision sciences. Professor Taylor teaches management science and production and operations management courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
